Green Building
We often hear and read about green and sustainable building. Trade magazines,
and magazines devoted to green building, have articles and advertisements featuring
green products for both residential and commercial construction. SIPs are perceived
a very green building material. Although a petroleum product is used to create
the energy efficient foam cores, a very small amount of petroleum is used to
save large amounts over the lifetime of the building.
